Ki Maʻo Ono — Hawaiian for The Best, Most Delicious Green Tea — is a beautiful handcrafted artisan green tea grown at 300 feet elevation on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. Hand-picked, pan-fired, and hand-rolled, it delivers a bright, clean cup with fresh floral notes and a subtle vegetal finish.

🌿 Grown with the Land, Not Against It

Our tea plants thrive in two distinct growing environments, each lending its own character to the cup.

  • Ocean Peninsula — open land overlooking the Pacific, bathed in sea breezes and island sunshine
  • Agroforest — grown beneath the canopy of native Hawaiian trees, where dappled light and rich forest soil create a more complex, layered flavor

Grown using regenerative and organic methods — no chemicals, ever. Guided by the Hawaiian value of mālama ʻāina — our regenerative farming story — to care for the land — our practices work with the natural ecosystem of Papaikou, Hawaiʻi, building the health of the ʻāina for generations to come.

✨ Small Batch. Hand Harvested. Weekly.

Ki Maʻo Ono is hand-harvested in small batches every week and only minimally processed to preserve maximum freshness and viability. From our farm to your cup, every step is done with intention and care.

☕ How to Brew

  • Amount: 2–3 grams per 8 oz of water
  • Temperature: 175–195°F
  • Steep time: 1–2 minutes, then re-steep for successive 2-minute infusions
  • Yield: Each pack makes 10–15 cups (or 20–30 with 1–3 infusions)

💡 Staff tip: Ki Maʻo Ono also shines as a cold infusion. Use slightly more tea — one rounded palmful per 3 cups of cool water — and steep overnight in the fridge. On a hot day on the tea farm, we love it served over ice with a touch of local honey and lemon. 🍋 Discard leaves within 12–24 hours.
